A nail was found in Halloween candy distributed to children in Gyömrő

During a Halloween event in Gyömrő, a child received candy containing a nail, raising concerns about intentional harm. The local government reported the incident, confirming the candy was not chocolate but caramel, where the nail was hidden. Fortunately, the girl noticed it before swallowing. Authorities filed a police report against unknown perpetrators and urged parents to inspect candies received during the event. Mayor Szabolcs Kisberk stated that since the alert, multiple reports have emerged, including one involving a broken plastic object in candy and another foreign object found in coconut candy. The police have launched an investigation.
