Szőlő Street: the former director is no longer suspected of one sexual offense
The prosecution against Péter Pál Juhász, former director of the Szőlő Street juvenile institution, has been terminated due to lack of evidence regarding sexual abuse claims made by a former resident, Sándor Bangó. Bangó alleged that Juhász coerced him and others into sexual acts during their stay at the institution. However, the prosecution concluded that no sexual acts occurred between Bangó and Juhász. The termination of the case does not affect other allegations of abuse against Bangó. Additionally, a well-known victim from the Szőlő Street incidents mentioned that a politician referred to as "Zsolti bácsi" also committed sexual offenses against the youths in the institution.
