Poland's Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz announced plans to establish a volunteer unit called Dron Legion, aimed at drone operators supporting the military. This initiative follows the success of existing volunteer formations like Cyber Legion and Medical Legion. The Dron Legion will recruit certified drone operators, including civilians and volunteers from various sectors. The program is currently in a pilot phase, focusing on students from military preparation schools, with training already underway. The Ministry of Defense is still finalizing details regarding the structure and operational framework of the Dron Legion.
