The fast train will enter Pomerania. Travel time reduced by even half

Poland plans to revolutionize its northern rail transport with new lines and increased speeds, significantly reducing travel times. The construction of 160 km of new railway lines aims to connect major cities and enhance intermodal transport, particularly benefiting the ports in Gdańsk and Gdynia. The Central Railway Line North will extend to Trójmiasto, improving freight capacity and connectivity to southern Poland. Travel times from Gdańsk to Warsaw will decrease to 100 minutes, while connections to Olsztyn and other regions will also be expedited. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to modernize Poland's transport infrastructure.
