This is how Poles save. Money is enough for very little

A recent study reveals that while 83% of Poles claim to have savings, 58% lack sufficient funds for more than three months of expenses. Many face challenges in saving due to high living costs and low incomes. The study highlights that financial security is not just about having savings but also their adequacy relative to monthly expenses. A significant portion of respondents use savings for unexpected expenses, indicating a reliance on these funds for daily needs. Additionally, Poland faces a substantial debt issue, with overdue obligations totaling 78 billion PLN, affecting over 2 million people. Financial education and responsible budgeting are emphasized as crucial for improving financial resilience.
