A dentist from Wilrijk has been sentenced to 7 years in prison for sexually assaulting and raping patients over a 25-year period. He fabricated medical procedures, claiming to perform non-existent throat disinfections, which led to numerous complaints from victims. The investigation began after a patient reported feeling uncomfortable after a treatment, prompting 73 victims to come forward. Evidence found in his practice included videos of sexual acts during dental procedures and child abuse material.
