Pussy Riot, the Russian collective protesting against Putin's regime, is coming to Budapest in spring.

Pussy Riot will perform in Budapest on April 23, 2027, showcasing their production "Riot Days," which combines music, theater, and political performance. The show, based on Mariya Alyokhina's works, addresses resistance against dictatorship through various artistic mediums. The performance features Alyokhina, actor Taszo Pletnyer, and multi-instrumentalist Alina Petrova, with Eric Breitenbach opening the concert. The collective gained fame in 2012 after protesting against Putin, and has faced increasing repression from Russian authorities, including being labeled an extremist organization. Their activism continues to draw attention, including recent allegations of coercion against former members.
