Technology in the cemetery. A search engine operates in these necropolises.

A searchable database for graves in Warsaw includes five cemeteries, allowing users to find burial information by entering names or dates. The project began in 2009 at Powązki Cemetery and concluded in 2019, documenting over 98,000 graves. The electronic database is accessible online, helping residents locate graves of ancestors. The team faced challenges reading faded inscriptions, using methods like water and angled lighting to enhance visibility.
