Nearly 2.4 billion crowns. The government approved funds for audiovisual according to the original plan

The State Fund for Audiovisual Activities (SFA) will manage 2.39 billion crowns next year, with 1.5 billion allocated for film incentives. Prime Minister Andrej Babiš confirmed government approval of the budget. Culture Minister Oto Klempíř has discussed budget cuts and changes to the fund's operations, prompting concerns from audiovisual representatives about destabilizing the system. Following the budget approval, further discussions on the SFA budget for 2028 and 2029 are expected. Klempíř also announced the dismissal of former Czech Television director Petr Dvořák from the fund's board due to differing views on fund management and insufficient cooperation in finding savings. The fund primarily supports audiovisual creation through film incentives, with state contributions totaling 1.9 billion crowns.
