Fear of the tribe, homosexual abuse, military obligations: justice rejects 45 urgent protection requests
The National Court has begun rejecting urgent protection requests from migrants, primarily from Morocco, citing various personal fears. Out of 1,697 international protection applications, 853 have been resolved, with 704 unfavorable outcomes. Many migrants fear persecution due to sexual orientation, military obligations, or family disputes, but judges have consistently denied these claims, stating that Morocco is considered a safe country. The court's decisions often reflect a lack of substantial evidence for the claims made by the applicants. Despite some successful urgent measures, the majority of cases have resulted in rejections, leading to deportations.
