The Hungarian government has compiled data on sports funding from corporate taxes, covering the period from 2015/16 to 2025/26. A total of 1407.9 billion HUF was certified for six major sports, benefiting 3119 organizations. However, this amount does not guarantee actual receipt by the recipients. Nearly half of the funds went to the top 100 organizations, with the Felcsút Youth Development Foundation receiving 45.4 billion HUF, ranking fourth among beneficiaries. The highest funding was recorded in the last period, totaling 172.5 billion HUF. Issues arose with over 500 clubs misusing funds, prompting the government to replace the tax system with direct budgetary support for transparency and accountability.
