A heavy blow for Hradec. Darida has a torn ligament in his knee, he won't play for months

Vladimír Darida, captain of Hradec Králové football team, has suffered a torn medial collateral ligament in his knee and will undergo surgery, sidelining him for approximately three months. He was injured during a match against Jablonec and will miss the remainder of the autumn season. Coach David Horejš expressed hope that Darida could return to full training by the end of January. Despite the injury, the team is relieved it is not more severe, as a torn cruciate ligament would have meant a longer recovery. Darida has been a key player for the team, contributing significantly to their recent successes.
