The Little Prince’s "nest" in Northwestern Sardinia

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, author of The Little Prince, fell in love with Alghero, Sardinia, during his stay in 1944. The MASE museum, established by Massimiliano Fois, showcases his life and works in a historic tower overlooking Porto Conte. The museum features memorabilia, artworks, and personal letters, highlighting Saint-Exupéry's connection to the region. Opened in 2019, it reflects years of research into his time in Alghero, where he celebrated his last birthday. The exhibition includes first editions of his books and photographs from his final days, offering visitors a glimpse into his adventurous life as a pilot. The rooftop terrace provides stunning views of the bay, reminiscent of his experiences.
