István Tiborcz's name has disappeared from private equity funds

István Tiborcz is no longer listed as a stakeholder in any private equity funds according to the NAV's records. Previously, he held a 99% stake in the Gordiusz Private Equity Fund, but his name has since been removed. The fund, which has significant real estate assets in Belgrade, was previously backed by the Hungarian Development Bank. The investigation revealed that while Tiborcz's name is absent from 19 funds, his former business associates still hold stakes. Notably, Gábor Sájer and Bálint Szécsényi are involved in various funds, exercising control without being major investors. The NAV's new regulations require actual ownership data to be submitted, but access to this information remains restricted for journalists.
