Residence permits expiring in January can already be renewed

Residence permits expiring in January 2027 can now be renewed through the AIMA portal, which opened on October 23. This allows renewals for permits expiring between July 2025 and January 2027. Previously, the portal accepted renewals only for permits expiring until December 2025. The agency aims to manage requests efficiently by opening the portal for two-month periods in advance. Reports indicate that renewals are processed within 60 days without delays since the online system was implemented.
