"These are the two people who are guilty". Zoll points to Nawrocki and Święczkowski
Professor Andrzej Zoll highlighted that properly appointed judges of the Constitutional Tribunal were unable to perform their duties for months due to being barred from their working spaces. He stated that the Tribunal effectively ceased functioning, particularly since 2015, and described the situation as one of necessity that could no longer be tolerated. Zoll attributed the crisis to decisions made by the president and the actions of Święczkowski, who was removed from his position. He emphasized that the president lacks the authority to interfere with the Tribunal's operations, which are independent from the executive branch. Zoll supported the decision by Judge Anna Korwin-Piotrowska to convene a general assembly, despite uncertainties about achieving a quorum, citing legal grounds for her actions regarding the suspension of the president and vice-president of the Tribunal.
