Dancing with thousands of Vucic's stumbling Serbian youth was not on my bucket list at Fontaines D.C.

Fontaines D.C. released their fifth album, Dopamine Chamber, on October 16, coinciding with Serbia's parliamentary elections on October 25. The band announced their autumn tour in August, excluding Budapest, prompting fans to travel to Belgrade for a concert on October 28. The atmosphere in Belgrade was charged with political energy, as students protested against the regime, echoing sentiments from previous protests. Graffiti and posters filled the city, reflecting a desire for change. During the concert, lead singer Grian Chatten acknowledged the students' struggles, emphasizing that this moment belonged to them. The band's new album blends various genres, maintaining their popularity and resonating with the audience, who passionately sang along to their hits.
