The MNB Foundation supported the MCC with more than one billion.

The Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) received 1.1 billion HUF in support from the Pallas Athéné Domus Meriti Foundation (PADME) over eight years. Telex uncovered this through a legal battle for transparency regarding PADME's funding distribution from 2019 to 2025. The documents revealed that between September 2021 and May 2023, MCC received 750 million HUF. Earlier, in 2017 and 2018, MCC's predecessor received additional funds. Despite the significant amount, it is relatively minor compared to MCC's overall wealth, which has grown substantially since 2011. The government plans to dissolve the foundation managing MCC by July 2026, returning its assets to the state.
