Participation in the Israeli election has not been this high in over fifty years

Israeli parliamentary elections show record voter turnout, with 44.9% participation by 2 PM, the highest since 1973. Participation increased across most demographics, except in ultra-Orthodox areas. Liberal districts saw more growth compared to Netanyahu's traditional strongholds. High turnout poses risks for smaller parties needing at least 3.25% of votes to enter parliament. Military participation reached 48%, up from 44.4% in 2022.
