The newly received scooter caught fire on its own, even though it wasn't on the charger, making a woman's house in Pétervására uninhabitable.

A woman from Pétervására reported that her house became uninhabitable after her newly purchased electric scooter caught fire. She claimed to have followed all storage and charging guidelines, having bought the scooter just two weeks prior. The fire occurred while she was away, and upon returning, she found her couch ablaze. Experts determined that the scooter had a short circuit, causing the fire. Although the distributor compensated her with 250,000 HUF and her insurance covered her belongings, she feels the damages were not fully compensated. She is seeking legal action against the manufacturer for full restitution.
