Toroczkai will summon Tomi, the Völner-Schadl case is heating up again

László Toroczkai announced that he will summon Szilvia Tomin, former director of the National Security Service, to testify before a parliamentary investigative committee. This follows claims made by former prosecutor Pál Frücht, who stated that Tomin received instructions from higher authorities to halt the investigation into the Völner-Schadl case. Frücht recounted a meeting with Tomin where she expressed concerns about losing respect and mentioned receiving orders to close the case involving Völner Pál, a former deputy minister who allegedly accepted bribes from György Schadl. The investigation began inadvertently during surveillance related to another case, led by Tomin's agency.
