"You made history!" – a German men's team won a championship with three women
The Saxony Football Association allowed women to play in men's teams starting the 2025/26 season, leading to a quick response from BSC Motor Rochlitz. Due to injuries and suspensions, the team faced difficulties and sought to postpone a match against BSC Milkau, which was denied. Instead, they invited three female players, Nancy Morgner, Cindy Kahlert, and Jenny Böttcher, to join the men's team. They received approval and participated in the match, with Morgner and Böttcher coming on as substitutes. The team won 1-0, and the women were celebrated for their contributions, receiving applause from the crowd and even beer as a reward. The club praised their historic achievement on social media.
