Metro Transportes do Sul workers evaluate new forms of struggle after seven days of strike

Workers from Metro Transportes do Sul are considering new forms of protest after a week-long strike without responses from the company or government. The strike, which took place on October 20-21 and partially from October 22-27, saw significant participation, reflecting workers' dissatisfaction. Union leader António Barata Domingues reported that there was no communication from either the company or the government regarding an agreement. The strike was initiated due to a lack of concrete results in negotiations for a new company agreement, with demands for improved working conditions and salary adjustments. The union is now planning further actions if no proposals are made.
