Tram along Pola Mokotowskiego. Residents' protests were ineffective

A planned tram line along Rostafińskich Street aims to connect Ochota with Mokotów, completing the Wola-Wilanów tram route. The project has faced opposition from local residents, particularly from the Biały Kamień neighborhood, leading to around 20 appeals against the environmental decision. The appeals were ultimately dismissed by the Samorządowe Kolegium Odwoławcze, which upheld the environmental conditions for the tram line. Despite protests, Warsaw's Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski confirmed that the project is ongoing, with preparations for construction continuing. Tramwaje Warszawskie expects to submit a request for a construction permit by the end of the year, with the project potentially being realized between 2028 and 2030, contingent on securing funding.
