Annual transfer to SIRESP always below 26 million

The president of SIRESP stated that the annual compensation from the state is always below 26 million euros, highlighting a significant decrease in costs since 2022. He explained that this compensation is used to pay for the operation and maintenance of the emergency communication system, which has been in place since 2006. Viegas Nunes emphasized the importance of user training for effective system utilization, especially in areas with poor coverage. He also addressed concerns about the lack of oversight regarding the compensation and the recent dissolution of the Operations and Management Center, which he was not consulted about. The company aims to enhance user training to improve response capabilities during network failures.
