Three unpublished works by Anne Carson are coming to Portugal in the coming months

Three unpublished works by Anne Carson will be released in Portugal soon, following her Nobel Prize win. The Poets and Dragons Society will publish "Norma Jeane Baker de Tróia" and "A Norma Errada" in November, while Almedina plans to release "Economy of the Unlost" in February 2027. The first two works showcase Carson's blend of classical tradition and contemporary experience, exploring themes of femininity and celebrity. "Norma Jeane Baker de Tróia" reinterprets the myth of Helen of Troy through the lens of Marilyn Monroe, while "A Norma Errada" combines prose poems and essays. Almedina's upcoming release examines the connections between poets Simonides and Paul Celan, focusing on language and memory.
