Thirteen-year-old attacker escapes prosecution. After the death of a teacher and a student, he is in an institution
A 13-year-old Slovak boy, responsible for a school attack that resulted in the deaths of a teacher and a student, has been placed in a juvenile facility following a court decision. Due to his age, he cannot be criminally prosecuted or imprisoned. The attack occurred at a primary school in Staškov, near Čadca, where the boy used a knife. The court's preliminary ruling allows for his placement in a facility until he turns 18, with the possibility of extension until he is 19. Following this incident, Slovak authorities have reported several threats made by students, leading to police investigations. In a related case, a student received a 25-year prison sentence for a previous school stabbing incident.
