Trump: perhaps Venezuela will be the 51st state of the USA

During a rally in Texas, President Donald Trump claimed that the U.S. has gained access to significant oil resources from Venezuela following a "historic victory." He mentioned that a tanker carrying one million barrels of Venezuelan oil, which the U.S. received for free, has arrived and will be refined in Texas. Trump, alongside Secretary of State Marco Rubio, plans to symbolically "receive" this oil as a "gift" from Caracas, intended to replenish the strategic oil reserve. He also suggested that Venezuela could potentially become the 51st state of the U.S., emphasizing its wealth in oil resources. This statement aligns with previous comments he made about Canada being the 51st state. Trump is currently campaigning for Republican candidates ahead of the midterm elections on November 3.
