Trump calls a CNN journalist "dumb" and another from ABC News "stupid"

Donald Trump insulted journalists from CNN and ABC News, calling one "dumb" and the other "stupid" during a press interaction about the release of an American detained in Russia. He confirmed that the release was linked to his decision not to impose sanctions on Russia. Trump's confrontational behavior towards female reporters has been noted throughout his presidency, with previous incidents of derogatory remarks. He is also involved in legal battles to restrict access to certain media outlets in the White House, and there are reports he may convert the press room into a swimming pool.
