Trump says the US will be "finished" if Democrats win

Donald Trump warned that the U.S. would be 'finished' if Democrats win the upcoming midterm elections and the 2028 presidential race. He emphasized the importance of retaining Republican control in Congress, citing polls that show a Democratic advantage in the House. Trump, who cannot run in 2028 due to term limits, stated he would use his veto power against Democratic initiatives if they gain a majority. He also expressed doubts about the integrity of the electoral process, particularly regarding a Senate race in Alaska, alleging Democratic involvement in an independent candidate's campaign without providing evidence. The midterms will influence the Congressional balance for the remainder of his presidency.
