Trump expressed disappointment when Pichai declined the request, stating that the ocean covers many countries. He referenced previous name changes he initiated, including the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. Despite his efforts, the Atlantic Ocean will retain its name for now, although Trump continues to have naming ideas, such as renaming the Strait of Hormuz to "TRUMP Strait."
