Tourist paradise underwater. Phuket experienced flash floods.

Heavy rainfall on Phuket caused flash floods, particularly affecting Patong, with 143 liters of rain recorded in one day. The vice-governor reported that water levels began to recede, but low-lying areas remain flooded. Temporary shelters were set up for affected residents, and heavy machinery was deployed for cleanup. The Thai Meteorological Department warns of continued rain until October 28, with previous floods resulting in at least 83 fatalities in Thailand since mid-September.
