"Tusk is lying as usual." Kaczyński explains his words about the EU

During the Krynica Forum 2026, Jarosław Kaczyński emphasized the need for changes in the European Union, suggesting negotiations on exit conditions as a potential method. He criticized Donald Tusk for misrepresenting his statements, asserting that the EU requires significant reform to benefit ordinary citizens rather than elites. Kaczyński believes that the current EU structure is failing due to past leadership, particularly under Merkel and Tusk. Przemysław Czarnek, PiS's vice president, clarified that while all options are considered, including potential EU reforms, the party does not plan to exit the EU. He proposed eliminating overlapping institutions like the European Parliament and suggested reforms to improve the EU's effectiveness.
