The trade exchange between Poland and Vietnam has increased significantly, reaching over $2.6 billion in the first seven months of 2026. Vietnamese media highlighted Poland's early diplomatic ties with Vietnam, established in 1950. Tusk emphasized the economic growth of both nations, comparing Poland's GDP to that of several Eastern European countries. He noted that this information surprised his Vietnamese counterparts, showcasing Poland's leadership in Europe.
