Two arrests in investigation into crash with car full of explosives in Amsterdam

Two men, aged 25 and 36, were arrested in connection with a car crash involving explosives in Amsterdam last July. The incident occurred after a police chase linked to a burglary in Germany. The car crashed in Nieuw-West, prompting a 100-meter evacuation due to potential explosives inside. The three occupants fled the scene, leading to police raids in the area, but no suspects were found initially. The first suspect was arrested in late September, and the second was apprehended recently at home. A third suspect was detained at Schiphol in August but has since been released. The investigation is ongoing, and witnesses are encouraged to come forward.
