Two twenty-year-olds arrested for a series of burglaries and thefts in Zonhoven

Two men, aged 22 and 23 from Heusden-Zolder and Zutendaal, were arrested for a series of burglaries and thefts in Zonhoven. Since May, they targeted pharmacies and shops, often escaping on a stolen motorcycle. One incident involved violence against a shopkeeper. The police apprehended one suspect on a stolen motorcycle in Bilzen, leading to the arrest of the second suspect. Investigations suggest their involvement in additional thefts across various locations in Limburg. The case is ongoing under the direction of the investigating judge.
