Two suspects arrested again for incident at English air force base
Two men have been re-arrested by British police in connection with an incident at Fairford airbase, suspected of aiding Iranian intelligence. A 24-year-old Brit was previously arrested on September 27, while a 25-year-old British-Iranian was detained in London on October 1. Both were released after their initial arrests. On September 27, five Britons were arrested near the Royal Air Force base in Gloucestershire for allegedly preparing a terrorist attack, but were later released under conditions. The US uses the RAF base in its operations against Iran, and following the incident, twelve bombers were removed from the base due to threats believed to originate from Iran, which denies involvement.
