This is how much the new president of Krakow will earn. He proposed the amount himself.

The chairman of the Krakow City Council proposed the maximum statutory salary for the president at 11,650 PLN. Łukasz Gibała suggested an amendment for the minimum salary of 9,320 PLN, citing the city's debt as a reason for cost savings. Gibała also proposed lower allowances, reducing the functional allowance to 3,544 PLN and the special allowance to 3,859.20 PLN, resulting in a total income of 16,723 PLN gross. Gibała was sworn in as Krakow's president after winning the early elections with 62.12% of the votes against Monika Piątkowska. He is the founder of the Kraków dla Mieszkańców association and has a background in academia and politics.
