U2 will perform at the Estádio da Luz in May 2027

The U2 band will perform in Portugal on May 27, 2027, at Estádio da Luz in Lisbon as part of their world tour, The Greatest Show On Earth. The announcement was made by Live Nation Portugal, with British band Wolf Alice opening the concert. This marks U2's return to a Portuguese stadium after 17 years, following their last performance in Coimbra in 2010. Their last concert in Portugal was in September 2018 at Altice Arena. The tour begins on February 23, 2027, in Mexico City and includes stops in Brazil and Argentina before heading to Europe, starting in Stockholm on April 26. The European leg will feature cities like Paris, Amsterdam, London, Berlin, and Milan, with Spanish dates to be announced soon. The tour will conclude in Ireland, as stated by guitarist The Edge.
