Bolsonaro's Escape. New Media Reports
Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro reportedly received international assistance during his escape to the USA via Argentina and Ecuador. He publicly thanked US President Donald Trump and Argentine President Javier Milei for their support. According to the New York Times, Bolsonaro's flight was arranged by White House official Jason Miller. Argentine media noted that a close aide to Milei was present in Puerto Iguazu during Bolsonaro's departure. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio denied any government assistance for Bolsonaro's exit. Bolsonaro claimed he is still the leader of Brazil, alleging election fraud after losing to Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
