A new Alien film is in the works, Ridley Scott reunites with the writer of The Wolf Children

A new Alien film is in development, with Ridley Scott producing and Aaron Guzikowski writing. The story will connect to the worlds of Prometheus and Alien: Covenant, focusing on the android character played by Michael Fassbender, who is not expected to return. The latest Alien film, Alien: Romulus, was released in 2024, while the Alien: Earth series is also a priority project, with its second season set for 2027. Guzikowski is gaining recognition in Hollywood for his work on various adaptations, including a Philip K. Dick story and the film version of the video game Death Stranding.
