The Tisza is establishing a new institution: The Institute for a Functional and Humane Hungary is coming

The Hungarian government is establishing the Institute for a Functional and Humane Hungary (MEMI) to facilitate nationwide social dialogue. Led by government commissioner Márk Radnai, MEMI will engage with local communities and civil organizations to identify societal issues and relay them to decision-makers. The institute will operate independently, funded by its own budget, and aims to serve the Hungarian society across different governments. It will organize public forums and consultations to ensure citizens' concerns are systematically addressed. The institute's director will be elected by the Parliament, and it is set to begin operations on January 1, 2027, with a focus on launching the 'Voice of Hungary' program shortly thereafter.
