New details have emerged about the wealth tax
The Hungarian Parliament is set to discuss a dozen new legislative proposals, including a wealth tax calculated based on the difference between individuals' assets and liabilities. This tax will apply to dual citizens regardless of their residency status, with exemptions for those living abroad for over ten years. The proposals also include amendments to various laws related to economic chambers, agriculture, and taxation. Additionally, two international agreements concerning cooperation in civil nuclear energy and a strategic partnership with Mexico are on the agenda.
