Another NER legacy disappears from our lives, Sportradio is shutting down
The National Sports Radio in Hungary will cease operations due to economic unsustainability, as requested by its media provider, MRTV. The Media Council approved the request, leading to the radio's shutdown on November 1, freeing its frequency. Established in 2022, the radio was accessible via traditional broadcasting and the National Sport website. Its owner, György Szöllősi, previously served as the editor-in-chief of National Sport. A review by journalist László Szily noted that the term 'left' was frequently mentioned during his five-hour listening session, alongside phrases referencing the period before 2010.
