The Tisza faction initiates another investigative committee

The Tisza parliamentary faction is proposing the establishment of an investigative committee to examine systemic abuses related to the use of integration funds and to uncover political and institutional accountability for unmet results. The initiative aims to investigate the use of domestic and European resources intended for disadvantaged and impoverished individuals. If approved by the National Assembly, a six-member committee will be formed, led by István Gyöngyösi from the Tisza Party. The committee will publicly report on the background of the abuses and make recommendations for a transparent integration policy. Additionally, Tisza party members are seeking an extension of the mandates of four parliamentary committees until June 15, 2027, to address various systemic issues.
