The Exit Festival will be held again in Serbia

The Exit Festival will return to Novi Sad in July 2027 after a hiatus due to political pressure. Last year, the festival faced sponsor withdrawals for supporting protesting students. Following the opposition's victory in the Serbian parliamentary elections, the festival is set to regain momentum. Although a full return is planned for 2028, organizers announced a special event next July at the Petrovaradin Fortress to celebrate freedom and unity. The festival, which began as a student movement in 2000, previously only skipped 2020 due to the pandemic. Notable past performers include Massive Attack and Arcade Fire. Details about the 2027 event will be revealed later.
