Łukasz Gibała abolished departments. And established a new office

On Monday, Krakow's president, Lukasz Gibala, announced the dissolution of six departments established by his predecessor, Aleksander Miszalski. This decision, effective immediately, will lead to the loss of several director positions. Gibala aims to save approximately 10 million PLN by streamlining the city's administration. A new Health Office will be created, starting December 1, to oversee addiction prevention and public health facilities. The city's financial situation is dire, with a deficit of nearly 400 million PLN for current expenditures. Gibala's administration is tasked with analyzing the budget to address these financial gaps without resorting to loans or bonds.
