Ukraine alarms: Russia has gathered several thousand missiles
As of October, Russia has amassed a stockpile of 700 ballistic missiles, thousands of cruise missiles, and over 6,000 strike drones, according to Ukrainian military intelligence. The current stock includes 1,150 Iskander-M missiles, with a monthly production of about 65. Russia is also developing a new Iskander missile variant with a range of 550 to 700 km. Additionally, there are around 120 hypersonic Zircon missiles and several hundred RM-48U missiles for S-300 and S-400 systems. Ukraine faces a shortage of Patriot missile interceptors, receiving only 12 per month from the U.S., which hampers its defense against ballistic missile attacks. The U.S. has not yet approved the transfer of Patriot missiles from NATO allies to Ukraine.
