Ukraine is building a luxury ski resort. 160 km from the border with Poland
The GORO Mountain Resort is under construction in Ukraine, featuring a Mountain Center at the summit of Vysokyi Virch. The facility will span 5800 m² with two floors, a restaurant, food hall, and outdoor terrace. It aims to attract winter sports enthusiasts with 40 ski trails and will host cultural events in summer. Located in the Sławsko municipality, the resort covers nearly 1200 hectares, with significant funding secured. The first phase is set to open in July 2027, with full completion expected in 2028, targeting Polish tourists due to its proximity to the border.
