A fire broke out at the Togliattikauczuk plant in Togliatti, Russia, which produces synthetic rubber and chemicals. The facility is significant for both civilian industry and the Russian military-industrial complex, as its products are used in missile fuel production. Local authorities issued a drone attack warning, and airport operations were suspended. This is not the first attack on the plant, with previous incidents reported in September and June.
